Rankin-Bass's classic holiday special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, receives the same treatment from Jim Shore as his best-selling Disney Traditions figure line - mixing the classic character with the classic Americana art style. Sam the Snowman becomes, in Shore's hands, a magical music box that plays "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" from the special as a scene of Santa Claus and his sled, led by Rudolph, takes flight on the spinner within his chest. Standing 10" tall, Sam the Snowman is made of stone resin.
