AVENGERS ASSEMBLE #1 COMIC SHOP VAR

Retailers interested in this promotion must place an order of 1 under the opt in code of DEC110762 by Monday, January 9th to obtain a user password for Marvel's cover creation site. For retailers maintaining multiple accounts, all accounts interested in participating must opt in via DEC110762 separately.  You will be sent your login information in the weeks following 1/9, and you will need to create your cover through the cover creation website and place your order through Diamond by the FOC of February 6th.

Qualifying retailers will be contacted after FOC on how they can upload a photo of their store or the store logo to be included on the cover of the AVENGERS ASSEMBLE #1 COMIC SHOP VARIANT.  Retailers will have a choice of two covers to choose from (each retailer cannot order both covers as they can only choose one of the two cover templates which is ordered through the one Diamond code listed above).  Also, the back cover will feature a personalized ad for your store containing your store's contact info that you submit.  Be sure to begin checking your email address in the weeks following 1/9 for details on how to create your personalized comic cover as there will be a hard deadline on submitting your store information and image assets for the cover. NOTE: the images used on the covers cannot contain non-Marvel intellectual properties and will be reviewed by Marvel before they are printed.

To order the variant, exceed your total orders by FOC of FEAR ITSELF #7 (AUG110568, Shipping 10/19/11) with your orders by FOC for AVENGERS ASSEMBLE #1 (JAN120638, current FOC of 2/6) and you will be able to order the AVENGERS ASSEMBLE #1 COMIC SHOP VARIANT (NOV118104), which has a minimum order quantity of 500 copies by the 2/6/12 FOC.  (Note the orders for the Comic Shop Variant cannot be used to count towards your target reg issue qty)  The orders for the Comic Shop Variant must be placed under this code by the 2/6 FOC or orders will not be accepted and the orders must be placed in multiples of 500.  Be sure to refer to your 1/2 invoice for easy reference as to your target quantity for this promotion.   The target quantity is a sum of all FEAR ITSELF #7 (AUG110568) orders for all related accounts (a parent account and any of its child accounts) and will only show on the invoice of the parent account.  Once the parent account qualifies, the minimum order quantity may be placed into as many child accounts as you wish.

Copies of AVENGERS ASSEMBLE #1 COMIC SHOP VARIANT ordered by FOC will be billed at a net price of $2.00.  If orders by FOC are 1,000 copies or greater, AVENGERS ASSEMBLE #1 COMIC SHOP VARIANT will be billed at a net price of $1.75.  This net pricing INCLUDES shipping and handling, meaning FREE shipping and handling for domestic retailers.*

Retailers will have a choice of two covers to choose from by artists Khoi Pham and Mirco Pierfederici. (Each account must choose one of the two cover templates.  All orders will be placed through the single Diamond item code of NOV118104.  The choice of which cover will be made through the cover creation website

By placing an order for the AVENGERS ASSEMBLE #1 COMIC SHOP VARIANT, you are agreeing to receive an overprint of 5% for free as there will be no damage or shortage replacements except for severe cases.  The Comic Shop Variants will be shipped from the printer, not from Diamond, and will be shipped in double-boxed cartons.

*International accounts should note that shipping will be billed separately at a reduced cost and will not be included as part of the net pricing.
