Booster and Tournament Packs now contain land, commons, uncommons, and rares, with approximately 1:8 rares replaced with a mythic rare card - and a total of 15 mythic rare cards. Plus: Planeswalkers, the most powerful beings in the multiverse, return! Intro Packs replace Theme Decks as the ideal entry point into new Magic sets with a play-ready, 41-card deck, one Shards of Alara Booster Pack, a Shards of Alara strategy insert, and a Magic: The Gathering rules insert for new players. Each deck comes with two rare cards, one of which is a premium foil rare card that is visible through the front of the box. There are 5 Intro Packs in Shards of Alara, packed 5 per box. Fat Packs contain 8 Boosters, a card box, player's guide, learn-to-play insert, and an excerpt from A Planeswalkers Guide to Alara. 15 cards per Booster Pack.
