Pluto is friendly, loyal, affectionate and always curious. He's been Mickey's devoted pal since the early Walt Disney animated shorts of the 1930s! Hand-crafted of fine porcelain (5" tall) and hand-painted to match authentic animation colors, Pluto includes a brass wire tail and ear crafted of pewter. Disney artists selected this iconic pose from an early Pluto character 'model sheet' used by Disney animators in drawing Mickey's faithful canine, and a small format lithograph of this model sheet is included in the sculpture box. Disney Certificate of Authenticity included.
