Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Luke Skywalker was assigned the wing position of Red Five and flew his X-Wing Starfighter in the Battle of Yavin against the Empire's mightiest weapon, the dreaded Death Star. As an X-Wing pilot, Luke wore a distinctive helmet. The helmet prop was made from an APH-6B Vietnam-era flight helmet used by the United States Navy, and it included a dual visor cover. A ridge was also added over the top, then the helmet was cast in halves to make the master pattern. The eFX X-Wing Pilot Helmet is a faithful recreation of the helmet worn in the film and is limited in production to 750 pieces worldwide. The helmet comes with a numbered plaque and a Certificate of Authenticity.
