Batman and the return of
Star Wars carry the story of Kenner into the 1990s. The
Dark Knight collection kicked off a long-running
Batman brand as Kenner mixed in shorter run successes like
Swamp Thing,
Robin Hood,
Terminator 2,
Mondo Blitzers,
Jurassic Park,
The Mask, and the return of
Star Wars, Alien, and the successfully revived
Beast Wars: Transformers. Many other lines were tried during this period and while some very neat figures, shown in prototype form, were never released.
The Kenner Legacy profiles them all, giving toy collectors unique insight into this popular company.
