Cult Classic Anime Cowboy Bebop Comes to Live Action

The beloved cult classic anime Cowboy Bebop is getting an American live action adaptation from Tomorrow Studios and Thor: Ragnarok writer Chris Yost. Developed alongside Sunrise, the studio behind the original anime series, Marty Adelstein of Tomorrow Studios said of the live action version, “We are excited to work with Sunrise in bringing this beloved anime to the U.S. and global marketplace as a live-action series. The animated version has long resonated with audiences worldwide, and with the continued, ever growing, popularity of anime, we believe a live action version will have an incredible impact today.”
The space western Cowboy Bebop, which aired on Adult Swim in the early 2000s, follows the adventures of Spike Spiegel and his crew of interstellar bounty hunters as they try to capture the galaxy's worst criminals.
