Jeff Smith's Bone Movie Adaptation Moves Forward

Mark Osborne, the director of Kung Fu Panda and The Little Prince joins Warner Bros.'s animated adaptation of Jeff Smith's award-winning comic series Bone as executive producer. Adam Kline has also been brought onto the project to co-write the script with Osborne. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Osborne said of the project, “Bone is very special and unconventional because it blends elements together that you don’t necessarily expect — soft, little comic characters and epic high stakes fantasy adventure. To carry this into the cinematic realm presents both an opportunity to represent what readers of all ages have loved about the series, while pushing animated storytelling into exciting and different areas."
