The AE86 generation of the Toyota Sprinter Trueno made its first debut in May 1983, which employed the FR layout when the FF layout was getting standardized in the car industry. The AE86 with its 4A-G (a.k.a. Hachi Roku which is Eighty Six in Japanese), holds a high popularity even today among car lovers.
