Illustration features an extensive look at the magazine story illustration of Robert McGinnis, a side of the artist's work often overlooked in other books and articles. Scores of reproductions from his original paintings and vintage tear sheets are included. Also featured in this issue is the work of Cooper Studio artist Murray Tinkelman, whose meticulous line drawings have been world famous for decades. Rounding out the issue is an article on Jim Flora, renowned for his jazz record album cover illustrations in the 50s and 60s, featuring dozens of previously unpublished illustrations. Also included are the usual book reviews, plus a run down of the latest exhibitions and events related to illustration history.
