"Slabbed!" in issue #3 takes a look at the dark side of comics collecting when Derrick tries to sell his stolen comic to a dealer, he finds out what comics are really worth, and it's not anything listed in the Overstreet Price Guide! Issue #4's "Crystal Clear" has a meth dealer with a cell phone embedded in his head, from which he can never escape. And issue #5 has a player named Louis who picks up the wrong female in New Orlean's French Quarter - and ultimately winds up conscious as his body rapidly decomposes in "Ignoble Rot."
