STRONTIUM DOG TABLETOP GAME STARTER SET: GOOD, BAD & MUTIE!

This fast-paced tabletop miniatures game allows two or more players to fight out scenes from the Strontium Dog universe defined by legendary comic creators John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra. Players take control of a small team of bounty hunters or the outlaws, criminals and renegades they hunt in gun battles, chases and showdowns across the galaxy. This starter game is based around the classic confrontation between mutant Search/Destroy agents (AKA Strontium Dogs) Johnny Alpha & Wulf Sternhammer and the infamous Max Bubba’s gang, a pivotal storyline within the pages of the galaxy’s greatest comic, 2000AD. Containing all the game rules, a scenario booklet to help you learn the game and refight the S/D Agents’ showdown with their mutant foes, as well as superbly detailed miniatures to fight over the solar farm scenery, this is a great way to get started with your Strontium Dog games. Due to the nuclear fallout that happened in 2150, a huge outbreak of mutant births occurred. Due to Government minister Nelson Bunker Kreelman's anti-mutant laws, mutants are not allowed to hold down a job or even buy food for themselves. Confined to segregated ghettos and slums they live a miserable existence. Small wonder many of them flock to the New Mutant Army and hit back at their norm tormentors with guerilla raids before finally launching an all-out assault on the Palace of Upminster, the seat of the norm government. Each division of then Mutant Army is led by a fierce, charismatic figure such as this included in this set: Studs Boyce of the Midlands Divison, the Welsh Divisions Evans the Fist, Clacton Fuzz of the South-East Division and the Tyne-and-Weirdies led by The Torso from Newcastle. STRONTIUM DOG TABLETOP GAME: ROGUE SD AGENTS EXPANSION SET

Not all S/D agents play by the rules – in fact, not many worry about the law at all! Sometimes a Strontium Dog goes too far and ends up becoming the hunted rather than the hunter. Fly’s-Eyes Wagner is such a case in point, going rogue after killing his partner. This was just the beginning of a story that would lead Wagner, Johnny Alpha, Wulf Sternhammer and The Gronk through the very planes of Hell and back! During The Schicklgruber Grab storyline S/D agent Slabhead leads his two mutant 'Dervish Dogs' on the hunt for the 1,000,000 credit reward for bringing Adolf Hitler to justice, as ordered by the Committee for Ultimate Retribution. His two dogs slice through WWII German Panzers like butter but they and Slabhead are neutralised by Johnny and Wulf. This set contains 4 Metal miniatures and 3 Character cards. STRONTIUM DOG TABLETOP GAME: SCUM OF THE UNIVERSE EXPANSION

Where there are bounty hunters there must, by definition, be those who have a bounty placed on their heads. Often these are violent outlaws, criminals or psychopaths. One of Johnny Alpha's previous partners, Sniffer Martinez, was gunned down by Kansyr on the planet Laz in Alpha's early days as an SD Agent. Using the Halugin weapon he stole on Laz, Kansyr went on to become crime lord of the planet Metastis. Taking part in the ancient annual death-rite known as The Killing on planet Zdwhkkrswrld (more commonly known as Zed!), Johnny and Wulf cross paths with the android Steelkreeg. Holding the two SD agents off in a bell tower using his flamethrower he eventually meets his demise! A two-faced mutant gang leader in the Spice System, Billy Joe forced Johnny into a duel with las-whips, the outcome a foregone conclusion as the gang leader was the system's champion for the last 16 years. An angry, uncouth Scotsman with a penchant for the bottle, Archibald 'Middenface' McNulty joins Johnny Alpha on many jobs and is only too happy to 'dish oot the laldy'. Whatever that means... Like Middenface, Kid Knee likes a drink – he needs the solace of a bottle of Mac-Mac to calm his shot nerves. Blubberlips was one of Johnny Alpha's group as they tracked down the notorious mutant war criminal, General William Blood Moon. Afflicted with a vampire-like blood lust mutation Durham Red is both ally and lover to Johnny Alpha. Durham's thirst for blood is just one of the sources of Johnny's mistrust of her. Maeve the Many-Armed, unsurprising, has many arms and aside from dressing like the legendary Queen of Connacht, she wields multiple weapons – you've got to hand it to her. STRONTIUM DOG TABLETOP GAME: THE STIX BROTHERS EXPANSION SET

The Stix brothers come from an unknown number of apparently identical mutants, all of whom are contracted to the Search/ Destroy agency. They are on the whole utterly mercenary and without scruples – ice-hearted killers who affect the look of gunfighters from Earth’s Old West, with an unflinching and laconic demeanour to match. Nobody is sure how many Stixes there are. There seem to be an endless supply to take up the family feud and cause trouble across the galaxy. On the planet Freedonia there is a town called Stixville full of Stixes, including Stix women and children. Box contains 3 metal Stix miniatures and 1 character card.
