Celebrate Chilling Legacy of Mr. Freeze with Mondo Tees
Aug 30, 2018
In September 1992, Batman: The Animated Series aired “Heart of Ice”, an episode that completely overhauled the origin story of Mr. Freeze. Once a minor villain in the canon of Batman, Mr. Freeze would soon become one of the most celebrated characters in Gotham City. The episode, often credited with propelling the series to mainstream prominence, would soon be awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program.
Now, you can celebrate the most chilling character in Gotham with Mondo’s Mr. Freeze 1/6 scale figure (SEP182376, $130.00)! Featuring the same gothic art style that earned the series critical acclaim, the figure bears a strikingly similar appearance to how he was visualized on screen. Mr. Freeze has 28 points of articulation, making him able to strike dynamic action poses.
Mondo has equipped Mr. Freeze with the necessary accessories include his freeze-gun, frozen blasts, gas tank, a frozen Batarang and his wife’s music box seen from “Heart Of Ice”. Also included is a Batman logo base with a stand for easy posing.
Derived from the original on-screen Mr. Freeze design by Mike Mignola, this figure was drawn up by Bigshot Toyworks, Ramirez Studios, Jason Wires Productions and Joe Allard. Before you pre-order the figure, be sure to look for Mondo’s Batman 1/6 scale action figure (JAN188692, $125.00) from Batman: The Animated Series.
