Teaser: Rocketeer Returns this December At IDW

While Disney's animated relaunch of The Rocketeer may be up still in development, IDW Publishing is gearing up a comeback for creator Dave Steven's high-flying pilot. 

In the new issue of the September PREVIEWS (out now), the San Diego-based publisher dropped the following teaser image with the promise of a December release.

What's in store for Cliff Secord a.k.a. The Rocketeer? Well, if memory serves me correctly, wherever Cliff goes government agents and German spies follow. There's also the possibility that Secord may not be the man behind the mask at all. A few months back, Disney, Jr. announced plans for an animated series starring a female lead. Perhaps IDW is aiming to give comic book fans their first glimpse of what that Rocketeer would look like.
