In honor of Independence Day and the release of Captain America #1, we're taking a look at a vintage Captain America action figure for Throwback Thursday!
Mego released this eight-inch Captain America action figure on a blister card in 1979.
One of three variations of this figure, this Type 2 version of Captain America came with slightly more pink facial pain and a cloth star.
The action figure sold for $920 at auction courtesy of our friends at Hake's Americana & Collectibles.
