Fantastic Five Years For Titan Comics
May 11, 2018
In February 2013, Titan Comics made their debut in PREVIEWS with a 2-page spread. Three new #1s were offered that month — Solid State Tank Girl, the anthology A1, and DMC: Devil May Cry: The Chronicles of Vergil.
From those humble beginnings, Titan has grown to become one of the most interesting publishers in the market today, with titles based on television series like Robotech, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Penny Dreadful; titles based on video games like Dark Souls and Sea of Thieves; crime comics like Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer and adaptations of Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy; European comics like The Beautiful Death and Atlas & Axis; archival reprints like Robotech, Elric, and the James Bond comic strips; as well as creator-owned comics like Tank Girl, Mycroft, and Rivers of London.
This month Titan continues their eclectic mix of titles, including the Tank Girl Coloring Book (MAY182030), featuring artwork from thirty years of Tank Girl comics for fans to deface; Doctor Who: The Road to the Thirteenth Doctor: The Tenth Doctor Special (MAY181999), the start of a mini-series that will build fan excitement to the debut of Jodie Whittaker as the thirteenth Doctor this October; Elric: The Ruby Throne Collection (MAY182005), a collection of two graphic albums based on Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné; and much more! The future looks bright for Titan Comics, with new properties and debuts to be announced in the months to come, and it’s never been a better time to discover their work!
