Bring On The Bad Guys: Thanos, Alien, & The Joker
Apr 15, 2018
Egads! Another molotov cocktail that's served as a kids drink. Say it isn't so! Say we don't have to suffer the bad guys again! Yes, sad for all of those within hearing range... you will submit! Your lethal injection of mean is back with this month’s rendition of “Bring on the Bad Guys,” and once again we show that we don’t discriminate because of race, sex, color, or creed. If you’re rotten, you qualify. And there are many ways to qualify. It might be that you enjoy kicking cats. It might be that you eat people. Or...maybe it’s because you’re one of Satan’s soldiers. In any event, we flip through the PREVIEWS catalog each month to see who needs to be called out as a deviant, and then we explain why these people … or things … or whatever they are … shouldn’t be helped if you see them bleeding in the middle of the street.
Let us begin.
DC Gallery: The Joker 1:1 Bust By Rick Baker
Want to prevent someone from getting a good night's sleep? What could be worse than snoring? What could be scarier than ghosts in your closet? What could be more menacing than rabid dogs chewing at your front door? Try the DC Gallery: The Joker 1:1 Bust By Rick Baker (APR180300)! A limited edition of 50 numbered pieces pulled straight from Rick Baker's own molds! You know, the Academy Award-winning special effects makeup artist Rick Baker? Yeah. That guy! There's no way you're getting any shut-eye with this monstrous version of the Clown Prince in the room! Look for it in the DC Comics section of the April PREVIEWS catalog!
Marvel Movie Gallery Avengers Infinity War Thanos PVC Diorama
Sculpted by Rocco Tartamella! Seen this guy around? Well, if you own a computer or iPhone or tablet, the answer would be "yes." If your answer is "no" than it means you clearly have a life unplugged from electronic entertainment. In short, this is the one-and-only bad guy who's world-renowned for giving the best hugs...to crush your rib cage. He's the star villain in the upcoming Marvel Avengers movie this year, and now we're calling him out in PREVIEWS as the Marvel Movie Gallery Avengers Infinity War Thanos PVC Diorama (AUG178006) with detailed sculpting and collectible-quality paint applications. You can find him in the Diamond Select Toys section in the April PREVIEWS catalog!
The Alien & Predator Figurine Collection: Neomorph
Here he is straight from the on-screen nightmare that horror fans know as Alien: Covenant. With terrifyingly realistic detail at 1:16 scale, the Alien & Predator Figurine Collection: Neomorph (APR182208) is a horrific reminder that in space no one can hear you scream. Or see you rendered limb-from-limb by this vicious brute that's made from specially formulated metallic resin and painted by hand. This is one critter you don't want to cross. You'll find him in the Hero Collector By Eaglemoss section of the April PREVIEWS catalog!
James Bond Live & Let Die —James Bond Baron Samedei 1/6 Limited Collector Figure
People wear garlic around their necks to keep away the vampires. People also avoid walking under ladders or letting black cats cross their paths so as to ward off bad luck. But what's the remedy for going around a dude that looks like he just had lunch with death? Worse, he's free to walk about wherever you are because he, too, is a fan of 007's activities. Recognize him? You should. The James Bond Live & Let Die —James Bond Baron Samedei 1/6 Limited Collector Figure (JAN188146) is a fully-realized portrait of actor Geoffrey Holder from the classic Live And Let Die James Bond film! Numerous accessories and illuminating character name plaque included! Find him in the Import Toys/Statues/Models section of the April PREVIEWS!
Ninja Batman: The Joker "Demon King of the Sixth Heaven" S.H. Figuarts
Yes, we know that we're supposed to be equal opportunity shills for evil. We got the email. But, c'mon!!!!!! Just look at this Ninja Batman: The Joker "Demon King of the Sixth Heaven" S.H. Figuarts (DEC178687)! There's a reason why it's a Featured Item this month, because not only is this one outrageous color scheme for a costume, but this rendition of the Joker is seen in the hit Japanese anime Ninja Batman! This figure includes two fans, a katana sword with scabbard, optional head, and four optional pairs of hands. Just positively nuts, brother! Look for him in the Import Toys/Statues/Models section of the April PREVIEWS!
And once again we've done our job for the month, showing you our list of irredeemables! Go out and pick up a copy of the March PREVIEWS, and let us know your favorite villains, and who YOU want to pit against each other in a fight to the death. Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, and let us know about your favorite bad guys.
See you next time, fellow degenerates!
