Rage And Reason Cloud Lara's Crusade

Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly, and Ashley A. Woods give us an exclusive interview to talk about their new four-issue Dark Horse mini-series, Tomb Raider: Survivor's Crusade #1 (SEP170111)! It seems Lara Croft still has to work out some things swirling around in her head, which includes the mystery surrounding her father's death. And the time for indecision is over.

"She's gone through so much," says writer Collin Kelly, "What we wanted to do was strip away her support system, and really just look at what Lara is like alone. She’s part of this grand legacy, and has this burden. And unless she does something about it, well, it’s all going to fall apart on her.”

“One of the things that we’re really excited about doing is looking at her relationship with Jonah, who’s been a big counter-balance for her in the games and the comics up to this point” Jackson Lanzing added. “Where she take things very seriously and finds herself pulled towards destiny often, Jonah is always that kind of laid back sense of reason. We’re going to be looking at how her relationship with Jonah is changing as Lara embraces the part of herself that just wants revenge.”
