Who hasn't dreamed of waking up one morning and discovering that you were the Emperor of the Universe or King of a Magic Kingdom? For one Orlando millennial, this is exactly what happens in Steve Skroce's new fantasy series for Image Comics that kicks off in Maestros #1 (AUG170542).
The Maestro and the entire royal family of the magic kingdom were murdered. Entire, that is, save for one, a dissolute son banished to Earth. Now, this son, thoroughly acclimated to life on Earth, has inherited the kingdom, the Maestroship, and the Godhood that comes with it. But forces are afoot, plots are made, and will the new heir live long enough to claim his birthright?
Skroce, the artist of Brian K. Vaughan's We Stand on Guard, as well as a Hollywood storyboard artist, returns to comics in Maestros with this new fantasy series about a murdered royal family and the one son who has to hold it all together!
