Most people are familiar with Gotham’s most famous resident. There are those who try to even own this fame, claiming that they have secret knowledge of his enemies and friends. But this fall, whatever political connections that were thought to have existed between certain parties and the Dark Knight will be flushed into oblivion, and carried through sewer pipes.

A new vision of Gotham city is about to be unveiled, courtesy of comic book creator Enrico Marini.

For those of you not familiar with the name, Enrico Marini has carved his name in the tree that is the European comic book market. His acclaimed flamboyant art style and cinematic approach to storytelling have struck a chord with readers, and his boy of work has gone on to include the best-selling French-language comics Le Scorpion, Eagles of Rome and Gipsy.

Now is the time where Marini takes on mainstream superhero fare, and it begins with a tale of the Dark Knight titled Batman: The Dark Prince Charming, which will be solicited as a two-volume graphic novel series that pits Batman against the infamous Clown Prince of Crime.

The first issue is scheduled to roll out November 1, 2017, with book two scheduled for release in spring 2018.
