Marvel's The Inhumans Come to IMAX and ABC

ABC, in partnership with IMAX, has ordered Marvel's The Inhumans as the next Marvel live action television and movie event. Under an agreement with IMAX, the first two episodes will premiere in theaters next summer while the weekly hour-long drama will debut on ABC the following fall. The new series will focus on the Inhuman's royal family, including Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, and more. Ben Sherwood, the co-chairman of Disney Media Networks and president of Disney/ABC Television Group had to say of the partnership, “This unprecedented alliance represents a bold, innovative approach to launching great TV content for a worldwide audience. It highlights Disney|/ABC’s unrelenting commitment to finding new and creative ways to showcasing our very best programming and increasing global engagement and reach.” No writer or showrunner has been attached to this project, but a premiere date of September 2017 has been set.
