How was your Halloween ComicFest event? Pretty good. We compete with the fair and the Florida/Georgia game, but we do have trick-or-treaters that come past the store.
What has been your best promotion or event? Our Free Comic Book Days are epic! We partner with the libraries and local comic artists and writers to create a con-like experience.
What recent changes have you made in the store? We put in new counters, new floors, new shelving, new air conditioner ductwork, new back issue bins, and more.
What steps have you taken to expand your customer base or to reach out to individuals unfamiliar with your store or comics in general? We’ve started advertising with radio and also we’ve been doing more public outreach with the libraries.
What are your plans for the near future? We’re putting an arcade room in the newly remodeled back room of the store and we’ll be offering more events in the store.
How did you choose your store name? We took the previous store name and my other store name, and made a mash-up.
What superpower would you most like to have? Telekinesis – because of the number of times I’ve left the remote on the other side of the room
