Astronomer Max Finn is in Paris, reluctantly attending a SETI conference on the search for extraterrestrial life. One day sitting in a street cafe, a sad street musician named Erich Zann, draws his attention as the old man plays an eerie set of music. Now each night, those same eerie melodies haunt Finn's dreams. Giving him nightmares about an impossible cosmic land ruled by Nyarlathotep, the messenger of the elder gods.
