Lady Mechanika travels to Africa, the Dark Continent, in search of Winifred's grandfather, but an airship mishap leaves her stranded in the middle of the Sahara.  With no food, water, or shelter, how will Lady Mechanika manage in the world's largest and hottest desert?  And what will happen to young Winifred?
