Imported from Japan! Japanese artist Hidekaz Himaruya combined his love of history with his creative talents to create Hetalia: Axis Powers. First a webcomic and then an anime, Hetalia: Axis Nations retells the history of the 20th-century with the nations of the inter-war period represented in an allegorical form by human beings, interrelating to one another and behaving in much the same way that their namesake nations did in the 1920s and 1930s. The main characters of the series are Italia, Germany, and Japan, and these plush dolls bring the comic's protagonists to life.
