eMoviePoster offered thousands of items in their April Major Auction, which was presented in multiple parts. Collectively, the April Major Auction brought in $842,220.

The portion that closed on April 9, 2024, contained 1,682 US and international posters, lobby cards, stills, and more, for a total of $171,710. Three surprising results were a Tiger Shark one-sheet for $2,988, Letty Lynton lobby card for $2,300, and Blessed Event one-sheet for $1,500.

The Thursday section that ended on April 11, featured 1,000 oversized and standard posters from the US and international, as well as non-movie posters, realizing $105,437. Three top lots were a Funny Face Japanese 1966 rerelease poster for $2,810, Red Shoes Japanese poster for $1,766, and Black Cat insert for $1,649.

The Sunday, April 14 offerings included 1,051 linen-backed and unbacked posters, lobby cards, and more, reaching $565,073. Some of the surprises were an M linen-backed German poster for $26,601, Creature From The Black Lagoon linen-backed one-sheet for $13,888, and a Forbidden Planet 30” x 40” poster for $10,000.

eMoviePoster’s all-comic book auction contains un-slabbed and ungraded books with near-complete runs of EC titles and almost all of the Walt Disney Comics and Stories from the 1940s. It starts on May 19. They are now accepting consignments for the all-art print auction that opens on June 16.
