With The Overstreet Guide to Collecting Tabletop Games now complete, Gemstone Assistant Editor Carrie Wood and Game Trade Media Production Manager Richard Ankney are preparing to debut the book at this year’s Origins Game Fair. Origins will return to the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, on June 13-17, 2018.

The Overstreet Guide to Collecting Tabletop Games examines the booming tabletop hobby, providing insight on the history of board games, role-playing games and collectible card games and looking into what aspects of these games are collectible (and valuable). The book features interviews with some of the top talent in the industry, including Wizards of the Coast founder Peter Adkison, legendary Dungeons & Dragons artist Larry Elmore, and Critical Role host Matthew Mercer, as well as with collectors from all walks of life.

“We’re super thrilled with how the book came out and I can’t wait for it to make its debut at Origins! The show is really a premier event for fans in addition to showcasing the industry, so I’m really looking forward to hearing some community feedback while we’re there,” Wood said.

Wood and Ankney will be selling and signing the book at the Game Trade Magazine booth, located at booth 145 in the exhibit hall, throughout the weekend.
