Start Here: Five New Comics Arriving April 11th

Admittedly, to be a comic book reader, you have to be a special breed. That is, usually, you have to be willing to go backward and forward in continuity – play catch up as best you can or get left behind by the ever-expanding funny book ecosystem.

Except, that’s not entirely true.

Yes, there are a lot of comics out there, but there are plenty of jumping on points because of that fact. Here are 5 titles hitting stores on April 11, 2018. Each are new series or the beginning of entirely new story arcs. Simply head to your comic shop and tell your store clerk, “Hey, I’d like to START HERE, please.”

Robocop: Citizens Arrest #1

In the aftermath of an alien invasion, New York City is now caught in a turf war for control of the city. Meanwhile, the Rat King doesn’t want control, he just wants chaos for his would-be kingdom. Fortunately for the Big Apple, the heroes in a half-shell will have something to say about that in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #81 (FEB180398).

Domino #1

In Domino #1 (FEB180770), the title character finds herself on the wrong side of the mercenary world, and her “good luck” powers are currently useless! Impossible shots and impossible targets use to be no problem for her, but she’ll need her wits and a ton of ammunition if she wants to turn the tables on her fellow mercs this time.
