It’s a fresh start for Harley as “Red Roses” begins in Harley Quinn #21 (APR170311), it’s too bad that Red Tool didn’t get the memo! Red Tool is still hopelessly in love with Harley and is sick of waiting around for her to take him seriously. As Red Tool makes his move, Harley is stuck in a moment of peak distraction and it may spell doom for the love-stuck Red tool. Plus, the back-up story, “Harley Loves Joker” continues as Harley crosses paths with an old pal who just happens to want to scam Harley out of her biggest score yet.

The Divided States of Hysteria #1

Howard Chaykin is back with an all new series at Image, and this time he’s taking on modern politics – no holds barred. The Divided States of Hysteria #1 (APR170684) is a glimpse at modern America through Chaykin’s lens as he explores an America shattered by greed and racism. When violence and fear have become rampant, when nihilism and tragedy are all America has, that’s when everything really goes to hell. This America is a dark look at a future that may be closer than we like to admit, and Chaykin doesn’t blink or look away from the monster on the page. 

Daredevil #21

Hells Kitchen has company as the new story arc “Supreme” begins in Daredevil #21 (APR171029). Daredevil has grandiose plans to eradicate crime in New York City and he’ll need all the help he can get. With Luke Cage and Echo at his side, Matt Murdock must make a choice to use the power of the legal system to clean the streets or fight injustice as Daredevil. As Matt debates finally hanging up his mask for good, will he trust in the legal system to do its job or will the devil of Hells Kitchen go on the prowl once more?

Game of Thrones: A Clash of Kings #1

For fans of Game of Thrones who just can’t wait for the next season, George R. R. Martin’s best-selling novel series A Song of Fire and Ice continues in Dynamite Entertainment’s Game of Thrones: A Clash of Kings #1 (APR171535). Following the plot of the novels rather than the television show, hardcore fans will be delighted by the attention to detail and accurate to the book characters. The danger is just beginning as Arya escapes from King’s Landing with the help of Yoren, while Sansa attends the name-day tournament held by the childish and sadistic King Joffrey, all of this while Bran lies in Winterfell dreaming of strange wolves and the coming winter.

Donny Cates and Garry Brown are bringing a devilish new series to life at Aftershock in Babyteeth #1 (APR171222). Becoming a young mother at sixteen years old is tough; but with the support of a loving family, everything should be okay. Or it would be, if the baby wasn’t the Antichrist sent to doom humanity. Having a newborn is hard enough without having it bring about the apocalypse! A fresh take on a genre that brought us Rosemary’s Baby and The Omen, this pulse pounding horror series is sure to terrify and thrill readers.
