X-Men Prime #1

The X-Men are sharing the spotlight in Marvel’s latest mutant event in X-Men Prime #1 (JAN170940). The war with the Inhumans is at an end and the X-Men have come to a crossroads as “Resurrxion” begins! Without Charles Xavier to guide them, the X-men are lost, but a beloved member of the team steps up to lead as Kitty Pryde returns to the X-Men in their hour of need. It’s back to basics for the X-Men as they try to protect a world that hates and fears them as the next chapter of the X-Men saga begins.

The X-Men aren’t the only ones getting a fresh start in the Marvel Universe, as the Inhumans return in the oversized Inhumans Prime #1 (JAN170945). IVX is at an end, but things are just beginning for the Inhumans and their new allies as “Resurrxion” takes the stage. This double sized issue is bursting at the seams with the trial of Maximus, the coming of Marvel Boy, and the dark secret that Black Bolt has kept hidden from the rest of the world. The tale of the Inhumans continues as they fight to figure out their place on earth and in the cosmos.

Deadly Class #27

Rick Remender and Wesley Craig’s critically acclaimed Image series is back as an all new story arc begins in Deadly Class #27 (JAN170680). The brutal and brutally honest tale returns as “This Is Not The End” kicks off a new chapter for the killers. Without Saya to protect the new students they become targets of the Student Council’s plot. To stop the students from becoming fresh meat they must turn to an unlikely source for help – or die trying.

Conan the Slayer #7

Conan is back as Dark Horse kicks off an all new story from the highly praised creative team of Cullen Bunn and Sergio Davila in Conan the Slayer #7 (NOV160097). Conan travels to the remote and mysterious island of Xapur as “The Devil in Iron” begins. As he stumbles upon an ancient city in ruins, Conan delves into the cryptic remains only to discover some things are better left undisturbed. Conan must discover the deadly secrets the city holds before it’s too late.

Jem and the Hologram #24

Jem and the Holograms are back for a beach party in the latest story arc from IDW Publishing. Creative team Kelly Thompson and Gisele Lagace are taking the girls on vacation in Jem and the Holograms #24 (DEC160554), but when the band arrives they find it anything but relaxing. With rival band The Stingers not so coincidentally renting the beach house next door Jerrica, Kimber, Aja, Shana, and Carmen will have to use all of their skills and talent to make sure this Hawaiian get-away goes smoothly.
