Pestilence #1

There's a reason why you should pay attention in class. It's your civil duty to make sure your teachers aren't teaching you alternative history. For example: did you know that in the late 14th Century the Great Pestilence is not as we were told? It was labeled as the "Black Death," and the story is that it swept across Europe killing over 100 million people. Well that's a lie! Lie! It was actually the FIRST non-recorded Zombie Infestation of man! See, they didn't have TV reporters back then, and the printing press wasnt' exactly....oh, never mind. The point is that in Pestilence #1 (MAR171236) from AfterShock Comics, you'll learn the real truth behind this outbreak, and how it might still pose a threat to us in the 21st century! Written by gore and mayhem master Frank Tieri with art by Oleg Okunev, you cand find this book in the Comics & Graphic Novels section of the March PREVIEWS catalog!

Creepshow GN

This is just too good to be true. Seriously. If you grew up in the 80s, then you remember it was the best time in the world to be a horror fan. The VHS/Beta war was in full swing, and ever movie under the sun was rushing to get on videotape. But some movies just had to still be seen in theaters to be appreciated, and Stephen King/George Romero's Creepshow was one of them. An homage to the old EC Comics, and full of 80s-style splatter gore effects, Creepshow made it's mark on the horror film history, and the comic adaptation that featured artwork from the legendary Bernie Wrightson did the film justice, and then some! Now that classic adaptation is back in black-and-white so that you get the full impact of Wrightson's masterful line work. Look for the Creepshow GN (MAR171842) from G13 in the Comics & Graphic Novels section of the March PREVIEWS catalog!
