Awesome Games Done Quick 2017 has wrapped up, and smashed all previous records for the gaming marathon by raising more than $2.2 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation over the course of the week. The marathon ran from January 8 to the early hours of January 15, 2017.

The Prevent Cancer Foundation is one of the nation’s leading voluntary health organizations, and is the only U.S. nonprofit focused solely on cancer prevention and early detection. AGDQ has raised more than $1 million for the charity every year since 2014, and this year marked the quickest to that total. The previous record for any Games Done Quick event was $1.57 million, at AGDQ 2015.

More than 175 games were ran over the course of the marathon. This year’s speedrunning marathon finished with a play of Undertale, the indie smash hit of 2015, which was finished in 1:28:17 by TGH, just about 90 seconds shy of his world record run on the game that he set about two months ago.

Games Done Quick consists of AGDQ, which is held annually in January, and Summer Games Done quick, held annually in July. This year’s SGDQ will take place July 2-9 in Minneapolis; last year’s SGDQ raised $1.3 million for Doctors Without Borders.
