Mass Effect Andromeda Release Date Announced

The next installment in the Mass Effect franchise has finally been given a release date of March 21, 2017. The release date was revealed by Aaryn Flynn, the General Manager of Bioware, in a press release as Mass Effect: Andromeda was first announced to be in development on June 15, 2015. Flynn delved more into the context of the long production cycle stating, "Mass Effect: Andromeda is our most ambitious Mass Effect game to date. We’re telling completely new stories, creating new characters, new planets, new species, and introducing new gameplay systems. And for the first time, we’re bringing Mass Effect to the Frostbite game engine, an incredible engine that’s delivering a tremendous graphical jump from the trilogy to Mass Effect: Andromeda."
