Sam Kieth took readers on a journey into Gotham City's heart of darkness with Batman: Arkham Asylum: Madness, an original hardcover that gave DC Comics the best-selling graphic novel in the month of June. In total, DC Comics had six of the top ten best-selling graphic novels.

Acclaimed film director Kevin Smith's reimagining of Green Hornet gave Dynamite Entertainment the best-selling Indie comic in the month of June as Kevin Smith's Green Hornet #5 topped the sales chart. VIZ Media held the top spot on the Indie Graphic Novels chart in June with Naruto Volume 48.

Top 25 Small Press Comics and Graphic Novels: June 2010
Archaia Studios Press had the best-selling Small Press Comic in June with Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard #1, the debut issue of the anthology spin-off to David Petersen's acclaimed murine heroic fantasy. Byran Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim and the Infinite Sadness, the third volume in the best-selling series from Oni Press, was the best-selling Small Press Graphic Novel.

Viz Media dominated the top-selling manga sales chart in June, taking nine of the top ten titles for the month sold to comics specialty retailers, with Naruto Volume 48, the latest chapter in the long-running saga about a ninja-in-training, leading the the way as the best-selling title for the month.

NECA/WizKids continued their HeroClix line in June with the DC HeroClix: Blackest Night Starter Set, featuring the heroes of the DC Universe, including The Flash and Wonder Woman, in their Lantern Corps identities. This set, based on DC's best-selling Blackest Night crossover event, proved to be the vendor the best-selling Game product to comics specialty shops for the month.
