The Focused Auction is underway with over 3,600 lots offered. It is a strong and diverse auction with many key issues represented and highlights spanning the genres. In the auction you'll find: over 1,300 lots in Session 1 filled with key and high grade Silver and early Bronze comic books; a phenomenal selection of nearly 400 scarce and even high grade Golden Age; over 1,000 late Bronze through Modern Age comic books, mostly in near pristine condition; over 600 original art lots; and, linking over to SportsCardLink, over 300 auction lots of sports cards and memorabilia.

Among the highlights are early Silver Age keys like Amazing Fantasy #15 (first Spider-Man) CGC 4.5, Journey Into Mystery #83 (first Thor) CGC 7.5, X-Men #1 (first X-Men and Magneto) CGC 8.0 and Incredible Hulk #1 (first Hulk) CBCS 3.0; pristine Bronze Age as high as CGC 9.8 like Ghost Rider #1, Marvel Premiere #15 (first Iron Fist), and Amazing Spider-Man #121 (death of Gwen Stacy) CGC 9.8; and Copper/Modern Age keys like Star Wars #1, Walking Dead #1, and Batman Adventures #12 in CGC 9.8.

Golden Age galore grace the auction, hailing from many different genres. A few representative examples include Flash Comics #7 (first Moldoff Hawkman cover and second featuring Hawkman overall) CBCS 5.0, All Star Comics #9 (first cover with Superman and Batman cover in the title) CGC 5.5, Kid Komics #5 CGC 7.5 (a top four Timely example), and Chamber of Chills #20 CGC 9.2 (top three example), and there are many Canadian Whites (Canadian Golden Age comics) within the Golden Age session as well. 

Also offered in the auction are over 500 art lots by the likes of John Byrne, Herb Trimpe, Rich Buckler, Jim Lee, Tim Sale, and Adam Hughes, just to name a few.

Sports cards and memorabilia offered include a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle in PSA 7 (this rookie card was just written up as having been one of the best investments in a Wall Street Journal article last week) and a baseball signed by the 1929 New York Yankees baseball team, including Ruth and Gehrig.
